Kahmani Teekonblah Zeon
Her grandfather was a tailor, her grandmother and aunts were seamstresses, and her father is a retired welder and engineer. Kahmani Zeon was born with creativity flowing through her blood. She approaches every project, obstacle, and task with an artistic mindset. After graduating from her undergraduate program with a bachelor of fine arts in Fashion Design, she decided to obtain certifications in the tech industry. As an advocate of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.), Kahmani aspires to merge her creative and technical skills and produce a sustainable and technologically advanced multi-functioning company.
Kahmani Zeon' s favorite bible verse, Philippians 4:13 states, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Kahmani is dedicated to putting God first in all she does. She uses her creative voice to spread God's word and love. Through years of missionary work, community service, and weekly volunteering she is able to fulfill her life's purpose of helping people.
Kahmani says, "being Liberian is one of the greatest gifts God has given me." After escaping their country's civil war, Kahmani's parents fled to the United States of America in search of freedom, safety, and security. In the states, they were able to raise Kahmani and her other three siblings without losing their cultural identities. They taught Kahmani how to fully embrace and love her culture. Now in her 20's, Kahmani's ultimate goal is to not only lift Liberia up on a high platform but to promote the excellence of the entire continent of Africa. She uses her culture for creative inspiration.
